There are many great swinger podcasts. To help you find the best podcast match we’ve interviewed them for you so you can better discover the Average Podcast.
We’ll let them introduce themselves…
Hi! We are Angie and J. We’re just a couple of average swingers. We are not the hottest, most intelligent (J brings the IQ level way down ;)), funniest, and we sure as hell are not the richest couple of swingers you will meet. We are just an average swinger couple, hence the show name. We’re doing a podcast because it’s fun. When it stops being fun, we will stop doing it.
How would you describe yourself?
We are Average…just kidding…..We are middle-aged couple swinging for over 10 years with a few experiences in our early 20s….and we try not to take life too seriously….or anything else.
How were you introduced into the swinging lifestyle?
Blinded by ignorance and alcohol…we played with our friends and it didn’t go well as one should expect. We did have fun, so we figured there was something else there. After several years of talking, we joined a website and started our social swinging lifestyle…about 2007….It went much better the 2nd time around!
Why did you start podcasting?
J is a podcast junkie and listened to the Swingercast podcast. We figured out later on in our lifestyle that we did everything wrong. So we decided to tell our stories and hope others could learn from our mistakes/mishaps.
What is the style of our podcast?
Free-flowing stream of conscientiousness. We strive for entertainment more than education. We want you to laugh at us…or more importantly at J…. We do not use notes, just start talking and see where the conversation leads us. Mostly stories about things that we have encountered and those stories of our friends.
What has been your biggest surprise so far?
Podcasting- The biggest surprise is the number of listeners we have and those that have told us about it being a positive influence it has been in their life.
Swinging- The biggest surprise is that almost all of our friends are in the lifestyle or know of us being in the lifestyle and are 100% accepting.
What is your best swinging advice?
You can never have too much communication with your partner. There are no levels. Ex. Full swap couples are not more advanced than Soft swap. There is no finish line. There is no place you have to get to, to be considered a “Swinger”. It is a mindset. No need to rush to anything.
Who/What has been the most influential in your swinging life?
John Melfie (Openlove 101)- He told me(J) to stop belittling myself to our listeners who expressed their feelings of appreciation, as it diminished their lifestyle experience.
If you could change one thing in the lifestyle, what would it be?
Outside the lifestyle- We would like to be equal to or above those who cheat. Cheating seems to be more acceptable in the world and Swinging is wrong.
Inside the lifestyle- We would like the bi-sexual men to be equally accepted as bi-sexual women are.
How can listeners support your show?
Just send us a thank you email. Do the same for all the other swinging podcasts that they listen to. It is genuinely appreciated and lets us know that someone likes us.
